Wherever there is use, abuse is inevitable. This is virtually the case in fashion merchandising. Today, there are various fashion merchants dealing with all kinds of fashion products. These individuals do their dirty business of marketing fake fashion products in variety of ways.
Fake products just like any other original fashion product have a place where they are manufactured. On the international scene, the Chinese nation is known as the centre of fake products of all kinds. Fashion products made in China are not durable and strong in every way. For instance in the area of replica watches; there are many of them being produce in China. Such watches never last long at all.
It is very awry to point out that most African cities are the target markets of many of these fake producing Chinese firms. There are countless numbers of fake fashion products being imported from China into most African cities. What gives impetus to such importation is the fact that Chinese fashion products are very cheap and hence most poor Africans can afford them easily.
However, the truth is that getting involved into buying fake China product is simply engaging in a penny-wise-pound-foolish venture. However, the only way to go against the preponderance of fake China products is to know how to detect them. (more…)
